- LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) is the best due to its safety, weight and energy density
- Generally purchased in 3.2V prismatic cells, which are combined electrically to achieve voltage and/or Amp-hours (Ah) required
- More expensive than lead-acid but benefits for power conversion outweigh this factor
